All Saints' has been the parish church of Winterbourne Down, South Gloucestershire, UK for more than 161 years. Throughout that time many hundreds of people have had contact with the church, either as regular members of the congregation or at key points in their lives such as baptisms and weddings. Our church seeks to preserve the rich heritage of the traditional Christian faith but also to connect with people from all walks of life.

The church building is a fine example of a compact Victorian church (Architect: George Edmund Street). Built high on the hill overlooking the parish, the views from the churchyard of the surrounding countryside and nearby Bristol are magnificent.

A warm welcome awaits you at All Saints'. This church is a hallowed, peaceful and beautiful place. We invite you to join us for worship, to explore the life and faith of this church.

All Saints' Church is the Anglican Parish Church of Winterbourne Down and is a member of the Fromeside Benefice.

The parish falls within the Kingswood and South Gloucestershire Deanery of the Diocese of Bristol.

Who we are

St Michael’s church is a group of people of all ages who meet for worship in the building which bears that name.

Our mission is to share Jesus and serve the community and this influences all that we do, from the work we do with our children and young people, to our care and concern for the local community.

All of our church members are involved in our church life and everyone has a part to play.  We do all we can to encourage children to feel included and we extend a warm welcome to all newcomers.
